Santas roadtrip

Jag gillar att göra men har lite svårt att ge dessa ovanligare julkort. Men jag låter inte det hindra mig!

Rock on!

Den här rockande killen är en av mina favoriter, för med jämna mellanrum gör jag kort med honom. I recycled a fab envelope, as the geometric shapes are cut out from it and everything that looks brown-ish is actually glittering gold/bronze, cut from the inner part of the envelope. So I felt pretty clever with that :)

Catch the Bug / Bugaboo has a daily Christmas in July challenge that I'm intent on participating in every day, this is the second entry of mine for Sundays challenge. I'm participating in: Catch the Bug (Sketch), TTCRD (ATG) and CHNC Extra (Christmas).

The Value of a Moment

Jag gillar den här kortmallen eftersom jag klippt till den med frihand, dvs den är förlåtande och kräver inte exakta mått. Stämplar är inte (ännu) min grej, men kanske det ännu blir det, jag gillar min cyklande Bella, och har nu tagit fram några andra stämplar för sommarsemestern. Det här kortet gjorde jag till min väninna som fyller år, hon gör ofta kloka reflektioner så därför tänkte jag att ett citat passar bättre än ett Grattis.

Sassy Summer

Were celebrating Midsummer and the weather is awful! So I have to focus on more crafting time, a day off and BBQ on the balcony.

White on White

White on White is a difficult theme for me, but that is what challenges are all about. Right? But it was difficult to get the details to show in the image, here I've used a lovely flower-y embossing folder butthat just does not show, and neither does the pretty paper that I've cut out the Hello from.

Birthday Martini

Note to self: use sturdier paper for these flip-it cards, do not be tempted by lovely but thinner two sided cardstock. So I made this card and showed it to my girls and one of them managed to handle it sort of roughly and it fell apart. But yes, the cardstock was not the best possible...

Spelglada grattis på 44-årsdagen!

En gång tidigare har jag använt spelkort för att visa åldern på mottagaren, och gillade den då så det är egentligen konstigt att jag först nu gör det. Mottagaren firade med att ha olika spel på programmet, därav kortets tema.

I had some difficulty in googling an answer about what paper piecing is, and I actually got two (sort of different/sort of complementing) answers, and as I understood this when i put together several pieces of paper into the dog constitutes paper piecing. Hopefully I'm right, even though most entries in these challenges had a different interpretation of it...

Royal Birthday

My proportions went haywire with this one, but then again that way I get to experiment. Also, the paper is IRL so delish, that I didn't want to hide it, therefore the satin ribbon is so low and I hope my interpretation of the sketch is still okay.

Hääkortti

Ystäväni kertoi saaneensa kutsun hääjuhliin joten tein hänelle hääkortin annettavaksi juhlaparille. Osallistun kortillani Paperillan korttihaasteeseen (Kortti juhlivalle) ja Dies R Us (Love birds). 

Kerrankin koristin myös sisäpuolen, joten pakkohan minun on näyttää kuva siitä :)

Sommar och glass

Ökad glasskonsumption är väl ett bra sommartecken? I alla fall har mina barn påstått idag att glass hör sommaren till :)

Min nya favorit dekoration är botten av en kork från en flaska skumvin, och särskilt här tyckte jag det passade extra bra in med tanke på kortets tema.

Cruising into Summer

Jag fattar inte att jag som tycker att jag tänker rättså grönt i vardagen är förtjust i bilbilder och anser dem vara ett klart vårtecken. Men främst på kort, inte i verkligheten, för där bryr jag mig inte alls om bilar. Konstigt!

Det är sommarlov och solen skiner, men om min pojke fick bestämma skulle han kunna sitta framför en skärm mest hela tiden - men oväntat socialt är det ändå då han samtidigt ofta kan prata med sina kompisar.
