Photographing when it's dark is so difficult, and here I just did not get it to be ok. Nonetheless, I'm participating in: Catch the Bug (Day 7: Recipe: 1 animal (well, as the main image, now I realise I actually have more here in the DP - 2 layers - 3 buttons) and Simon Says Wednesday (Create with Critters).

I think getting a good photo is the most challenging part of entering challenges and being on a DT - I totally feel your pain. But this looks just fine to me and the card is absolutely adorable.
