A hint of pink and bloom for baby girl

 

I was requested to make a card for a christening for a girl, whose name was not yet known. I wanted to make something soft and sweet, but not über-pink, and the request was that it shouldn't be too fussy. The image and the flowery die cut is colored with Promarkers.

Ballerina

Det känns som att något fattas på detta kort, men är osäker på vad... Så tills jag kommer på hur jag borde komplettera detta kort, deltar jag med det som så i följande utmaningar: Tuesday Morning Sketches, Brown Sugar (Pink and pearls), ADFD (ATG) och I love Promarkers (ATG, the image is colored with Pro-and Flexmarkers).

Snögubbe

Jag deltar med min snögubbe (som jag färgat med Promarkers) i följande utmaningar: Passion for Promarker (Fave colors: Red, Brown and Green), Kort o Mania (Alt er Lov), Allsorts (Anything Christmas), Gem of a Challenge (Snowmen/-women) och CHNC (Use a sentiment).

Outdoors Ballerina

I'm entering this lovely gal (colored with Pro- and Flexmarkers) into these challenges: Bunny Zoe (Summer florals), Passion for Promarker (Summer flowers), Inspiration Destination (ATG), Kraftin' Kimmie (Summer), and Fab'n'Funky (tic tac toe: Die cut - digi image - flowers).

Pretty in Pink

Over at A Day for Daisies, the challenge theme is to Case a dt card and I chose Juliana's gorgeous creation (I just turned it as that suited the way this pretty ballerina is turned better). I'm also entering these other challenges: Chocolate, Coffee and Cards (Fancy and use pink), Allsorts (Frame it) and Crafty Catz (Add bling). 

En känsla av vår

En känsla av vår börjar krypa in i mitt kortpyssel (på bekostnad av bla julkortspysslet...), nu bara vädret ännu skulle samarbeta :) Flickan har jag färglagt med Promarkers och bakgrunden är gjord med min favoritfärg Distressed Ink.

Bilden är ursöt tycker jag och jag blev inspirerad (tom. diesen jag använde) då jag såg på Sketch Saturday utmaningens DT-biddrag, men tyvärr gick det snett sen k'nns det som. Nåväl, bättre lycka nästa gång :)

Lady in Blue

I recently won some digis from A Day for Daisies when I discovered these super lovely images (and btw, there are som fab freebies available, too!) and challenge (pearls/beads) that I'm now entering my card into. I'm thinking my mom especially will love these images, many are feminine and vintage-y, and so many of them remind me of the illustrations from old Elsa Bescow books that I remember being read. At first I tried making a bow from ribbon, but that just didn't sit well here, so I ended up making a paper bow that I think sits well with the striped ribbon. The bling in the bakground paper didn't photograph very well, but it's there :)
