Spelglada grattis på 44-årsdagen!

En gång tidigare har jag använt spelkort för att visa åldern på mottagaren, och gillade den då så det är egentligen konstigt att jag först nu gör det. Mottagaren firade med att ha olika spel på programmet, därav kortets tema.

Mus i vårt hus

Rockande födelsedag!

Wuff!

I had some difficulty in googling an answer about what paper piecing is, and I actually got two (sort of different/sort of complementing) answers, and as I understood this when i put together several pieces of paper into the dog constitutes paper piecing. Hopefully I'm right, even though most entries in these challenges had a different interpretation of it...

Sommar skejtande

Dethär blev en enkel design, men igen hade jag dilemmat att jag inte ville täcka det fina pappret. Royal Birthday

My proportions went haywire with this one, but then again that way I get to experiment. Also, the paper is IRL so delish, that I didn't want to hide it, therefore the satin ribbon is so low and I hope my interpretation of the sketch is still okay.

Hääkortti

Ystäväni kertoi saaneensa kutsun hääjuhliin joten tein hänelle hääkortin annettavaksi juhlaparille. Osallistun kortillani Paperillan korttihaasteeseen (Kortti juhlivalle) ja Dies R Us (Love birds). 

Kerrankin koristin myös sisäpuolen, joten pakkohan minun on näyttää kuva siitä :)

Sommar och glass

Ökad glasskonsumption är väl ett bra sommartecken? I alla fall har mina barn påstått idag att glass hör sommaren till :)

Not old, just mature

Min nya favorit dekoration är botten av en kork från en flaska skumvin, och särskilt här tyckte jag det passade extra bra in med tanke på kortets tema.

På promenad

Min söta tjej är ute på en sommarpromenad med sin hund och deltar i följande utmaningar: Everybody Art (Hellgrün und Rosa), Tuesday Morning Sketches och Papertake Weekly (ATG).

Cruising into Summer

Jag fattar inte att jag som tycker att jag tänker rättså grönt i vardagen är förtjust i bilbilder och anser dem vara ett klart vårtecken. Men främst på kort, inte i verkligheten, för där bryr jag mig inte alls om bilar. Konstigt!

Det är sommarlov och solen skiner, men om min pojke fick bestämma skulle han kunna sitta framför en skärm mest hela tiden - men oväntat socialt är det ändå då han samtidigt ofta kan prata med sina kompisar. Flight box

My travel themed box was inspired by new purchases I made, and what could be better than combining them together :) With hindsight, a blue box would have been better (maybe colored with some distressed ink), but I'll save that for next time.

Åt en tonårstjej

Ibland är jag riktigt nöjd med vad jag gjort, men sedan då jag lägger upp kortet på bloggen så tycker jag att jag borde ha gjort något mera eller annorlunda. IRL så var jag nöjd med detta, och avstod från extrakrumelurer och grattis-texten jag uprsprungligen planerat. Nu så tycker jag det ser halvfärdigt ut. Hrmpf! OMG, HBD! Let's Celebrate!

This didn't quite turn out as i thought it would, but at least I got to play with some washi-tape and have some general fun in the process. And I was happy to see that my kids recognized the old-fashioned thingy as a telephone :)
