Peek-a-boo!

Med samma skiss blev det ett rätt likadant kort som tidigare idag. Förgerna kommer inte riktigt till sin rätt på kortet, och texten "Friends" som finns på charm-en (vad heter månne utsmyckningen på svenska?) syns inte heller.

Nyt P*skarteluhaasteessa #228 teemana on luonnos, ja koska itse tykkään kovasti käyttää luonnoksia (milloinkohan sommittelusta tulee helpompaa?) niin innostuin tästä, ja uskonpa että tulen käyttämään tätä uudemman kerran! Yksinkertaisuudessaan se on kuitenkin yllättävän monipuolinen, oli inspiroivaa käydä katsomassa DT-töitä sekä jo osallistumaan ehtineita!

Jag använde mig av pappret som var i Papercraft inspirations förra (?) numret, men limmade det ljusröda pappret åt fel håll (det skulle vara enfärgat, inte rutigt). Men nu funkar det ju någotsånär såhär också :)

Inspis-haasteessa teemana on allaoleva malli, ja itse tykkään tästä kovasti! Sommittelu on omasta mielestäni erittäin vaikeaa, ja tästä syystä käytän useimmiten jotain mallia apuna. Kuva on Robyn's Fetish:n, joka sponsoroi tämänkertaista Seems A Little Sketchy haastetta, missä nimensämukaisesti on malli-haasteita, erikoisuutena se, että siinä on myös tulevien haasteiden mallit valmiiksi näytillä.

Isn't it lovely that spring (more or less) has arrived and you can hear birds singing?

My songbird tweets herself into the following challenges: CRAFT (Recycled - the flower is made from a used envelope and the background paper is from a magazine - meant for crafting but would otherwise heading for the recycling bin), Creative Card Crew (Spring), Suzy Bee (AG), Pinspirational, Penny's (Feathered Friends), Delicious Doodles (All seasons in one day), Crafty Ribbon (Summer Colour Explosion), Totally Papercrafts (Pastels).

Oh, and does it ever happen to anybody else, that suddenly you have an epiphany of what your creation is missing? While writing this, I got the idea that the thing I need to add is the Tweet-text that I have as a die :)

Seems a Little Sketchy #62 with Robyn's Fetish

In Finland we celebrate Mother's Day in May, so in anticipation of that I made this card. The generous sponsor (3 digis) this week at Seems a Little Sketchy is Robyn's Fetish, and below you can see the sketch. Do head over and see what my talented team-mates have done, I was (again) awestruck by their work (I got a sneak-peak, you see), and had to take a few deep breaths before pressing the publish button. This cute & cuddly Bugaboo-penguin is supposedly surrounded by snowflakes and snowballs (the gems), even though now typing away I realize it's not *that* obvious. Muffin-hare

För några veckor sedan köpte jag Papercraft Inspirations och där med kom lite papper och söta djur, som denna Muffin-dekorerande sötis.

P*skarteluhaasteen resepti

P*skarteluhaasteessa on resepti tarjolla, ja sekoittamalla sen ainesosat (eläin - nappeja - raitoja) syntyi tällainen yksinkertainen lopputulos.

Skating around in Circles

I know this resembles my previous card, but now in addition to Hazels card, I tried to emulate the sketch at Feeling Sketchy #85, even though I spread out the circles a bit wider. Nontheless, I loved the background so much that in an attempt to put the skates in the corner they actually now are partly outside the card... But boy did I make a mistake: The inspiration for the skates came from Marianne's beautiful ones at Winter Wonderland, but mine looked a little bit drab so I thought I'd add some glitter glue. But alas, half-way through I regretted it, but by then it was too late to put the glitter back in the tube.

Trains and trucks

I made this with my nephew Mr C in mind, as he really loves his cars and vehicles (and of course Daddy being a huge enthusiast has an impact).
