I copied this idea from the paper pack of the gold paper, which has a nice texture to it. I'm entering my card into these challenges: Winter Wonderland (Die cuts and /or punches), Simon Says Monday (Add some texture), Kitty Bee (Christmas in July), Brown Sugar (Christmas in July) and Fussy & Fancy (Christmas in July).
