Silpuista sydämiä

Osallistun Villakeijun kortteiluhaasteeseen tällä kortilla. Hyödynsin pieniä paperinpalasia mitkä olivat jääneet yli näihin sydämiin, ja rusetti on vapaalla kädellä tehty tällä nauhalla joka on joskus koristanut saamaani pakettia. Oikeastaan olen vähän samaa ideaa käyttäen tehnyt aikaisemmin tämän ja tämän kortin.

A whiff of cherry blossom

I was inspired by the theme over at Crafts 4 Eternity (Oriental), but it was suprisingly difficult for me to think what elements to choose. But the overall feel I wanted was a whiff of cherry blossom, so my flowery background paper and the pink bow was meant to bring that to the table. Christmas is approaching

Friday evening, I'm sitting on the sofa watching a movie and BAM! inspiration hits me. Well, what can you do? Get out the crafting gear, of course :) I'm participating in: Catch the Bug (Stella says Sketch), CHNC (Trees), Fab'nFunky (Christmas) and CWL (AG).

Skyddsängel

Den fina ramen är lite för stor för kortbottnet, men Papertake weekly (Sketch #51) passade prima då den inte krävde så mycket mera utsmyckning. Samtidigt fick det härliga bandet jag vunnit i en av Villakeijus  tidigare utmaningar får mera synlighet. Jag deltar med min skyddsängel (från Vintagearkku) också i Card mania (Angel), Cute Card Thursday (Something new - in this case the lovely ribbon I have won from Villakeiju), Deep Ocean (Fantasy), A Creative Romance (Show some love - and I instinctively thought that the guardian angel shows love towards the children, I hope this interpretation isn't too far fetched), CWL (AG) och LEJ Designs (AG).

Rudolph

The proportions proved difficult (basically my cute Limited Runs reindeer was too big, but nontheless I forced it into the lovely sketch from Seems a little Sketchy. Unfortunately this meant my tree is a bit too covered for my taste, but I'm still taking part in CHNC (Trees). Also, I'm submitting my card to:  Pile it On (Animal), CHNC Extra (January), Fab'nFunky (Christmas) and Totally Gorjuss (Furtastic). And yay, I got to use my new Christmas paper I got on sale :)

Käytin taas ihanaa Bugaboo-hauvelia, nyt ystävänpäivästä inspiroituneena. Jag börjar sakta men säkert känna att julkort kan börja komma till mer regelbundet :) Nu fick jag inspiration till detta jul/vinterkort rätt jämlikt från följande utmaningar (men jag borde ändå ha fått till mera kontraster för detta blev lite blaaah): CHNC (Trees), C:R:A:F:T (Colour combo), Sketch Saturday, Pile it On (Animal), Catch the Bug (Photo inspiration), Christmas Cards all year round (AG) och CHNC Extra (January).

Oliver Ostrich

For the second time, I used the Tuesday Morning Sketch with two of the fab Doodle Pantry Oliver Ostriches, a fab freebie! But does an ostrich have fur (yes, silly question probably)? It has feathers so I'm going to bet yes and participate in the Totally Gorjuss (Fur-tastic) challenge as well as Pile it on (Animals), Artistic inspirations (AG/Ribbon) and Creative Inspirations (Ribbons).

Oj vad svårt när jag ville göra ett personligt födelsedagskort med massvis detaljer, så att det skulle se festligt ut. Jag valde att göra ett popup-kort vilket förstås gjorde att planeringen (som jag upplever svårast) gällde så många sidor att det tog rätt länge, jag täcks inte ens säga hur länge :) Nåväl, jag var rätt nöjd med slutresultatet och tycker tom att fotona inte gör kortet rätt.

Bugaboo final frenzy

So this is my final entry in the Catch the Bug Bugaboo birthday extravaganza (which was a close call due to the time difference) with the cupcake tower + 1 cupcake, and the four pearls in the corner. Suzy Bee's new theme (Ribbon & Bow) was perfect for this mornings crafting frenzy, as was Brown Sugar (Embossing), Delicious Doodles (Ribbon) and Cute Card Thursday (So Sweet - because cupcakes sure are).

I used this versatile sketch (again) by Suzy Bee to make this card with the cheerful Bugaboo freebie (that you can still get if you hurry up!). I was inspired by Catch the Bug (Birthday card for a child), Fab'n'Funky (All about Words), TTCRD (AG), Sweet Stamps (AG), Crafting for all Seasons (For the Girls), Cute Card Thursday (So Sweet) and Divas by Design (AG).

Nothing personal, but I cut funny Bugaboo-Stella in two for this card ;) I simply wanted a slightly smaller pic and I have used all of her recently here and here. Julen närmar sig...

Så småningom kanske jag börjar göra lite julkort igen, men det blev så intensivt i december att jag behövt en lite paus. Jag använde mig av den versatila skissen på Suzy Bee (Sketch), och deltar också i Robyn's fetish (Winter card), CHNC (Shades of Blue), Paper Nest Dolls (AG) och ABC Christmas Cards (Bare Essentials - minimum of embellishments) med min Doodle Pantry-snögubbe.

Födelsedagsaperitiv i Paris

Allt bling gjorde det svårt att ta ett skarpt foto :) Jag föreställer mig Bugaboo-Scarlette på en aperitiv i Paris före sina födelsedagsmiddag. Hennes klänning och hår har dessutom extra glitter i sig men det syns tyvä'rr dåligt (trots flera försök till bättre foto). Jag deltar i Card and Scrap (Bruk Bling), Catch the Bug (Tuesday Bling), Suzy Bee (Sketch) och Passion for Promarkers (Ribbon, twine or lace).

Baby-kort

Jag var och fynda på Tiimaris slutförsäljning och köpte en hel del, bl.a. bandet och nallen och de övriga baby-dekorationerna. slutresultatet blev detta baby-kort. Kanske det skulle behöva något till ännu? Butterfly Birthday

I'm so happy I found Cheerful Sketches as I was inspired to use their lovely sketch. The pink butterfly is made out of cardboard (originally around a Christmas pressie doll) that I then embossed. That and the dragon flies in the embossed background were inspired by the Winged things theme over at CWL (Yay, I won last week's challenge and am now eagerly waiting for the time to colour and use the wonderful My Besties-digis I won). As there are Animals, I'm eligible for Simon Says Monday (A is for Animals). I tried several times but did not manage to get the glittery colours I used for accent (lipstick, earrings, highlights in the hair etc) in the pic to show. Bummer! Nonetheless, the colours were inspired by the Monday colour theme over at Catch the Bug, and the flowers by the Flower frenzy at Incy Wincy's.

Grattis-bukett!

Di's digi-flicka är så söt, men jag har ännu inte lärt mig hur jag kunde (vackert) få lite rosa färg på hennes kinder. Jag använde mig (igen) av den gemensamma skissen på Seems a little Sketchy och Creative Card Crew, och färginspirerades av I love Promarkers (Hot Colours) och Cute Card Thursday (Warm it up). Bugaboo love

Bugaboo fyller 4 år och eftersom jag använt en hel del av deras digis och gillar dem skarpt (härlig humor!!!) så deltar jag i deras Blog hop samt utmaningar. Den här söta hunden är freebien från en dryg vecka sedan, och fast vändagen närmar sig så tänker jag mig nog mera detta som ett födelsedagskort (redan av praktisk skäl för Valentin dagen / vändagen är inget jag egentligen firar alls). I had a lovely, huuuge parcel arriving int the mail a week ago so I have used my new stash (the embossed clouds, umbrella, sun and text) as well as the die making this card a popup. Isn't Billy from Di's Digis cool? I put him into the lovely sketch from Sketch Saturday, following the recipe (1 image, 2 buttons, 3 papers) over at Fab'n'Funky, and as he is a boy I'm also entering the boy / men challenges at Dream Valley and Totally Gorjuss. In addition to that, I image Billy is as bright as the colours I've chosen, so I'm entering the All things bright challenge at Crafting for all seasons and thanks to the embossed background Simon Says Wednesday.

Hello Guys!

Jag hade inga planer på att göra ännu ett kort inspirerat av It's all about the Vintage  (Mies tai Miehet) men sen fastnade bilden jag hittat i Vintagearkku-arkivet i handen på mig och jag ville använda det. Det här är ett popup kort, men det syns inte så bra, jag borde ha tagit fotot lite mera snett från sidan. Pop'n'Cuts kort är inte så lätta att göra, men jag fick nog mersmak för det. Färgerna, som jag inspirerades av från Sketchy Colours (Grey, Pink, Lilac), syns inte så bra på bilden, samt av en allmänt somrig, festlig känsla mitt i vintern som äntligen anlänt.
