Glamouröst Grattis!

Jag har en längre tid funderat på att jag vill göra ett step-kort och nu hittade jag av misstag en fantastisk tutorial var man inte behöver mäta något. Något fattas ännu i det vänstra hörnet, inte sant? Så jag överväger att sätta dit nr 40 med tanke på mottagaren :) Det enda jag missat är vart jag skulle kunna sätta mitt namn som underskrift... Hmmm!

Grattis från familjen

Sent igår kväll i smyg lagade jag detta kort åt min man, med en bild som skall föreställa våra tre barn  - även om pojken borde vara klart längre på bilden men tur nog noterade han inte det! Nu har mitt kalender-projekt framskridit långsammare, men det är nästan klart och det har varit så roligt att jag övervägt att börja i förtid på 2016 för att dessutom sedan kanske ha en uppsättning klar som julgåva!

Födelsedagsfjäril

Här har jag utmanat mig själv: Stämplar och CAS är något jag inte i regel gör, men nu känns det som om jag håller på att få mersmak :)

Ibland är reparerat bättre än nytt

Nu blev jag visst lite väl ivrig att prova nyare inköp: mönstret på pappret syns inte pga att jag använde distress ink, jag trodde att det skulle synas igenom, och spetsen färgade jag också i ett försök att få den att skifta i rosa. Så är jag är lite osäker på om det var lyckat att med liquid pearls sas färga klänningen. Men visst är det kul att pröva nya saker :)

P*skarteluhaasteen akryylipalikkatausta

Onkohan tämä P*skarteluhaaste niitä parhaimpia haasteita? Ensireaktio oli, että ei, enhän minä osaa/pysty/halua, tarvikkeita täytyy varmasti olla mitä ei löydy minulta jne jne. Mutta päätinpähän kokeilla ja *innostuin*! Tein hieman umpimähkään erinäisiä kokeiluja (alla) ja valitsin sitten ylläolevan taustan ja toisen setin mistä stanssasin tekstin ja linnun. Ei ehkä ihan kuvaavinta omalle tyylilleni, joten vaatii hieman miettimistä miten käyttäisin nämä, mutta ihanaa kun nyt löytyy yksi askartelutapa lisää :)

Different kind of Valentine

My sis-in-law and her hubby have a good sense of huomour, so I thought they might see the humor in this card that I quickly put together on the day itself. In case you can't make put the sentiment, it's Marriage is like a deck of cards. In the beginning all you need is two hearts and a diamond. By the end, you wish you had a club and a spade.

The sketch (turned around) is from Sketch Saturday, and I'm also participating in: Allsorts (Any other occasion than Birthday, and this was for Valentine's), Fussy and Fancy (It's all about Love), Passion for Promarker (To someone I love, i.e. my dear sister-in-law and her darling hubby) and Creative Inspirations.

My Best Friend

This cutie's best friend just might be the other cutie she's holding in her arms. At least the canine kind of best friend :)

Dagarna är längre och det känns som att kanske, kanske, är våren på kommande i år igen! Jag fyndade en hel del Distress Inks som jag blivit glad av att använda, och den här gula färgen gjorde mig bara så pigg och glad!

A fabulous friend turns forty and will get this card.Decoupage is something I use very often, but for these fab gals it added a nice effect

In Finland we call Valentine's Day Friend Day (it doesn't translate too well, though) so I associate it more with friendship than romantic love. And these four gals seem to be happy and have a fab time together, don't they!?!
